We had a great weekend helping celebrate the Lunar New Year performing at the 3rd Annual Lunar Fest in Downtown Riverside! The weather looked a little unpredictable while waiting for the opening parade, but it soon cleared up; it’s as if the gods knew what we were up to!
We helped open the festivities at the main stage along with the presentation of the albino snake, the presence of Miss Taiwan International, and the release of peace doves! In the evening, we performed at the intersection of Mission Inn and Lemon alongside UCR’s Tiger Crane Lion Dance for our finale piece, including three of our pieces: Mukashi Mukashi, Tatsumaki, and Matsuri.
