Anime Expo 2013

SenryuAX2013Going to be at AX? Come see us perform at the opening ceremony at the L.A. Convention Center!  We are scheduled to go on July 4th @ 10:00 a.m.  Also, we will be putting on a workshop/panel the same day from 2:30-4:30 p.m.!  Anime Expo (AX) is the largest project managed by the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA) and is the second longest running anime convention (after A-kon in Texas) starting in 1992.

SPJA is a non-profit organization dedicated to popularizing the unique and deep culture that surrounds of Japanese animation.  They are passionate about Japanese Animation, manga, and their related interests.  The goal of the Anime Expo project is to bring together fans, industry, and all other stakeholders to share, celebrate, promote, and educate Japanese animation, manga, and their related interests.

Popular large events include the Masquerade, Anime Music Video Contest, Concerts, Battle of the Bands, and the AX Fashion Show. Anime Expo is a 24-hour convention that offers late-night dances, all night video programming, tabletop gaming rooms, and open-mic Karaoke in the late evening/early morning hours. Many of the attendees cosplay while attending the convention, and there are many gatherings for fans of different anime and manga series.
