Annual Intercollegiate Taiko Invitationals
It’s almost time for the Annual Intercollegiate Taiko Invitationals!
This year will mark the 19th event, which will be hosted by our friends at UCSD, Asayake Taiko. The first invitationals was held in Stanford, CA among the three first collegiate taiko groups: Stanford Taiko, UCLA’s Kyodo Taiko, and UCI’s Jodaiko. Now, there are 14 groups, some coming as far as Oregon!
There will be two free concerts, which are open to the public.
We are looking forward to expanding our taiko knowledge, meeting new and old friends, and just having a fun, taiko-filled weekend!…
